Masjid Diraja Sultan Ala’eddin
Located within a 1-minute walking distance of Istana Bandar, the beautiful Masjid Diraja Sultan Ala’eddin stands as one of the oldest royal mosques in Selangor. Also known as Masjid Bandar, it was constructed in the early 1900s under the orders of Sultan Ala'eddin Sulaiman Shah Ibni Al-Marhum Raja Muda Musa (fifth Sultan of Selangor). The pulpit in the mosque is often used by the sultan during his sermons. Recently, the entire structure was painted white from the original yellow colour scheme. Moreover, this sacred building has been gazetted as a Historical Heritage Site frequented by tourists.
